Leveling up your Battle Pass in Fortnite can sometimes feel like it takes forever, especially as you get closer to Level 100 and those enlightened styles, but there are a few different ways to climb the ranks faster.
Chapter 3 Season 1 of Epic Games’ hit battle royale Fortnite has arrived, and an entirely new Battle Pass is here, too. There are a host of new skins and cosmetics to unlock, including the long-awaited Spider-Man and some great original characters too.
Given the quality of rewards on offer this season – and The Foundation skin coming soon – you’ll probably want to level up as quickly as possible. But that can often seem like a difficult thing to do, especially if you’ve exhausted the traditional routes.
Here are some of the best ways to level up fast in Fortnite Chapter 3 and unlock not only the standard skins and cosmetics, but also the rare bonus styles that will be added to the Battle Pass later in the season.

1. Complete weekly Seasonal Quests
Every week, Fortnite releases a set of nine Seasonal Quests for players to tackle. They each grant a lot of XP when completed, so working your way through all of them every week is without a doubt the best way to max out your Battle Pass.
New weekly challenges usually arrive every Thursday at 6AM PT | 9AM ET | 2PM GMT and range from easy tasks like catching fish or dealing damage with a certain weapon, to harder ones like finding hidden items around The Island.
You can find details of all current and upcoming Chapter 3 Season 1 weekly challenges right here.
2. Don’t ignore those Daily Quests
While the weekly Seasonal Quests will offer the greatest XP rewards, your Daily Quests are just as important. These refresh each day at 6AM PT | 9AM ET | 2PM GMT, and are usually quite easy (and quick) to complete.
Only the first three Daily Quests you tick off each day will give you a decent amount of XP. After this, the amount you’ll get reduces drastically. This means logging in for just 10 minutes each day to complete your Daily Quests is worthwhile.
3. Use Party Assist to complete challenges faster
One of the most useful features in Fortnite is the Party Assist function.
If you play with friends in Duos, Trios, or best of all Squads, any progress towards completing qualifying weekly quests will be shared between all players on the team.
This is especially handy when tackling challenges with multiple tiers. For example, if a quest asks you to land 25 headshots in total, that could take you a quarter of the time it normally would if your entire squad is aiming for headshots.
4. Grind towards Fortnite Milestones
Players will be glad to know that Milestones have returned in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. Most of these Milestones are menial tasks like driving a certain distance or destroying specific items.
As a result, you’ll probably tick them off without even realizing it during regular everyday play, but it does help to know what they are. Fortunately, in Chapter 3, you can view all of your Milestones in the Quests menu.
Some of these Milestones require you to use different weapons or items, so it’s worth switching it up every now and then (even if that does mean trading your powerful shotgun for a pistol).
5. Level up in Creative Mode
Believe it or not, you can gain easy XP in Fortnite simply by entering its Creative Mode. Players are rewarded with 12,000 XP for every 15 minutes they spend in Creative playlists, and up to five of these rewards can be collected each day.
Even better, following the Chapter 3 update, some experiences in Creative Mode have the Accolade Device enabled, meaning they offer the ability to earn XP by reaching certain levels or achievements. Look for the XP logo next to a playlist.
6. Purchase extra levels in the Fortnite Store
No one wants to purchase levels in Fortnite – and you should be able to level up easily enough using the other methods on this list – but there’s no denying that this is the quickest way to level up in just a few seconds.
There are often ‘bundles’ of levels that work out cheaper than purchasing individual levels in the long-run, so make sure you check them out before purchasing a different amount of levels.
7. Get Kills
While this may be a no-brainer, players are rewarded with XP upon killing enemies in Fortnite. On top of that, there’s also a stacking bonus that exists for killing multiple enemies within one game.
It may be tempting to adopt a defensive playstyle in hopes of achieving a Victory Royale, but going for those risky kills is also very much worth it.
If you’re struggling with getting kills and improving in Fortnite, remember practice makes perfect. The more gunfights you put yourself in, the more knowledge you’ll have on how to win the next one.
8. Get a Fortnite Victory Royale!
Perhaps the easiest way to earn XP is to simply do well in Fortnite’s battle royale mode.
You’ll be awarded a small amount of XP for every elimination you dish out up until a certain number, and you’ll earn progressively more XP for every Storm cycle you survive.
You’ll also get a specific amount of XP depending on where you place. Naturally, you’ll get the most XP for coming first and scoring a coveted Victory Royale (300 XP), so practice, practice, practice, and that all-important XP will be yours.
We’ve actually put together a handy guide to getting better at Fortnite and increasing your chances of getting a Victory Royale, so check that out if you’re struggling.
