Fortnite might be expanding its metaverse into another popular multiplayer franchise as rumors claim the battle royale will be crossing over with Dead by Daylight.
Epic Games has turned Fortnite into a collaboration machine leaving no form of content untouched. From popular streamers to movie characters to pop stars, the battle royale has expanded its arsenal of cosmetics to appeal to numerous fanbases.
Fortnite even teams up with other video games. It started with Master Chief and Kratos, and the most recent video game crossover was with Among Us. This has led fans to speculate what video game could be getting a crossover next.
Luckily, a notable leaker claims the asymmetric horror multiplayer game Dead by Daylight might have the battle royale in its sights.
Scream’s Ghost Face is one of the many killers in Dead by Daylight.
Fortnite x Dead by Daylight rumor
According to notable Fortnite leaker Shiina, an anonymous source provided an image claiming a Dead by Daylight collaboration was happening soon. This crossover would include cosmetics for both games.
The rumor claims players can earn a Llama Charm in Dead by Daylight, which depicts a Loot Llama from Fortnite and can be attached to different items used by Killers and Survivors.
In Fortnite, players can obtain the Meg Thomas skin. Thomas is an original character from Dead by Daylight and her cosmetic set will likely include a pickaxe and back bling.

Epic Games has yet to officially announce this crossover, but interaction with Dead by Daylight on Twitter has players even more convinced it’s coming. In October of 2021, Epic and DBD shared a Twitter exchange where Epic invited the horror game to Fortnite.
While this could have been a cheeky exchange among social media managers, Fortnite has been known to tease crossovers well in advance using replies on Twitter.
